MBBS FRACGP
Dr. Deepa graduated from India in 2007 and she worked in challenging primary care facilities in rural and remote parts of India before moving to Australia in 2010.
She gained further work experience in Australia in a wide range of settings and underwent specialist training in General Practice under the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners pathway in Australia.
She completed her Australian Medical Council examination and then successfully completed her fellowship examination by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. As a Vocationally trained and FRACGP doctor, she is committed to keeping her skills up to date by undertaking advanced courses, training, and workshops.
She worked in Sarina, Regional Mackay area for 3 years in General Practice before moving to Brisbane. During this period, she developed special interests in Women’s sexual and reproductive health and offers a range of family planning options like contraception, Depo injections, Implanon, and IUD insertions.
With a particular interest in skin, Dr. Deepa completing a Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine and went on to finish a Certificate of Dermoscopy with Skin Cancer College Australasia. She can perform procedures like biopsy, simple skin excision, incision and drainage of abscess and toenail removal procedures.
She is especially good with kids and has a special interest in children and adolescent health and other aspects of General Practice such as management of mental health conditions, management of chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, kidney impairment, and asthma.

Dr Alice McNab graduated from Flinders University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and then went on to complete her Fellowship of Royal College of General Practitioners in 2012.
A Brisbane local, Dr McNab has a diverse medical background in general practice and has worked in numerous rural hospitals.
She has worked in both Queensland and the Northern Territory. Within these rural hospitals, Dr McNab held numerous Emergency Department management positions.
Dr McNab enjoys the areas of women’s health, paediatrics, chronic disease management with a particular interest in developmental and learning difficulties.

Dr Dominic completed his medical degree in 2013 at the University of Queensland.
He worked for a number of years in adult medicine at multiple Brisbane and Sunshine Coast Hospitals.
He is a second year GP registrar looking to complete his final examinations this year and enjoys all aspects of general practice and treating patients of all ages.

Dr Atul Sehgal completed his Undergraduate Degree in Medicine (MBBS) in Punjab, India, before moving to South Africa to finish his Post Graduate Training in General Surgery.
He was training to be a Paediatric Surgeon when he moved to Australia in 2003 and worked in multiple rural and tertiary level hospitals in general surgery, mental health, emergency medicine, child health, internal medicine and cardiology.
Dr Sehgal’s extensive experience working in various fields of study in Australia helped him tremendously when he moved to General Practice to obtain his Fellowships with Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and Australian College of Rural And Remote Medicine (FACRRM, Advanced Specialised Training in Mental Health – ACRRM).
With over 20 years of experience, Dr Sehgal is comfortable dealing with patients in all fields of medicine. These areas include women’s health, surgery, mental health, children’s health and chronic disease management.
Dr Sehgal takes pride in addressing his patients needs and concerns and has a reputation for being kind, thorough and approachable.

Dr Janaka Abeysirigunawardana obtained a Doctor of Medicine from the Donetsk State Medical University in Russia in 1991.
He completed the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2011 and has a postgraduate background as a Community Physician.
He is a proficient doctor whose passion lies in treating, supporting, and managing patients.
His areas of interest range from men’s health and family care to women’s health, pregnancy and pos-natal care through to diabetes and chronic disease management, heart health, and minor surgery.
In addition to English, he speaks Russian and Sinhalese.
