North Lakes Practice Now A Mixed Billed Clinic

Please note: Medpods Medical Centre North Lakes is now a mixed billing clinic.

Children under 16 years continue to be bulk-billed.

Pension & Health Care Card holders receive a discount on fees.

Please enquire with reception.

All other patients or appointment types will incur a consultation fee as follows (as of 1 December 2022):

Standard consultation : $75 – Concession discounted fee $55
Long consultation : $120 – Concession discounted fee $90
Extended consultation : $150 – Concession discounted fee $130

No bulk-billing on weekends and full private fees apply. Fees after 1pm on Saturday :

Standard consult $90 / Long consult $130 / Extended consult $165

Doreen Practice Has A Private Billing Fee Structure

Medpods Medical Centre Doreen offers a private billing practice. Payment is required on the day of consultation.

Standard Consult:                     $40 out of pocket
Long Consult:                             $80 out of pocket
Extended Consult:                    $120 out of pocket

Please advise reception if your consultation is for a work-related injury.

More information regarding the practice fee structure is available by calling our reception staff during opening hours.

Home Visits

As a regular patient of our practice, Medpods offer the ability to request a home visit. If you are unable to attend the clinic due to your health, please call and speak with our team to discuss how we can help.

After Hours Care

Medpods has partnered with National Home Doctor Service to provide your after hours care.
If you or your family suffer illness outside of our practice hours, please call 13 74 25 ( 13 SICK ) and a GP will be sent to your home to provide care.

Interpreter Service

If language may be a barrier between you and your Medpods GP, we are able to organise interpreter services.
TIS provides interpreters if English is not your primary language. You can advise your Receptionist when booking your appointment or call 131 450 to arrange prior to arriving at your appointment.
